pjw Joined: Aug 19, 2004 Posts: 8 PM	Posted: 2004-09-21 12:38 i just upgraded my K700i from the SE online service. Everything went fine and the phone now says I have R2L001 (instead of R2A041). Thing is that the camera does not work anymore!? I go to the Camera-menu and press select, then the Camera-screen is displayed for about one second, then the phone goes back to the main menu... Anyone experienced something similar? Tried to re-start the phone, but it didn't work... A friend of mine upgraded his phone from R2E using my PC and docking station, and the camera works on his phone...!?

I believe it is some specific hardware revision of K700 that has this problem. I send in my K700 and got a new one. This one upgraded fine and now I have the R2L software with a working camera!
