hi guys is the software out yet to unlock the vodafone live k700i. BTW the online update does not work with vodafone it says the update cannot be made on your current network provider.

Yes, I'm on the Vodafone network and i got my vodafone K700i unlocked by Vodafone today. i can now use my T-Mobile chip, but i still have the vodafone software, logos etc and i still cannot use the mp3 tunes as ringtones. How can i get rid of the vodafone logos as use my mp3?

thanks for the replies. I so hate vodafone but i guess i cant do anything about them branding their phones. It would be nice to get rid of all there crappy logos plus disabling the mp3s. How much would be a good price to pay to unlock the k700i

Anish, although it won't get rid of the voda branding, you can update the firmware to r2v (don't know where yet, but someone else on this forum has done it), which will let you use mp3 ringtone.

I believe about the £15 as stated earlier is the average price for unlocking.
