Hello all - well I have searched extensively on this before posting and all I can find is heaps of stuff re T610 and Jabra 200, but nothing re K700i... I have just received a replacement Jabra 250 - the first one worked perfectly with my T610 but then just stopped working altogether - rendered duff by the supplier. I upgraded my phone around the same time and only noticed the Jabra 250 didnt work when I paired it to my new handset. So anyway, its been replaced, and I have the new Jabra 250 here. Ive paired it with the K700i - no problem. Ive called my mobile from my landline and the headset beeps in my ear and I can answer the call.. no problem. Ive recorded voice tags through the Jabra 250, and ive tried recording them just through the phone itself but I cannot get the K700i to recognise them - I always get 'not recognised - try again?'. I took the sim card out of my K700i and put it back in the T610. Pressed the button the Jabra once, said the voice tag - it repeats the voice tag back to me and starts dialling. Why then does this not work on the K700i?? I cant think what else to try. Ive tried pairing it as a Handsfree and also as a Headset, but Handsfree setting on the Jabra 250 with the K700i doesnt detect the type of bt headset - and the K700i calls it unknown. Accepting calls still works, but no improvement re voice dailling calls.

Does anyone out there have a K700i and Jabra 250 voice dailling working?? Pleeeeaasseeee! Its driving me up the wall here!

Thanks in advance.
Michelle.

...oops - a bit more searching and ive found the answer - but a stupid one at that. Thanks to Ramiro - who posted in December 2002 re getting voice dailling working on a T68... Anyway, for those who have the same problem on a K700i where despite recording voice tags through your blue tooth headset, the K700i wont recognise them, this is because the K700i seems to only give you one chance at recording at voice tag - and this chance is right when you create the contact record! So for any voice tags to be recognised on the K700i, you have to delete the whole contact and start again. This isnt too bad, particularly as it now works, but its a bit stupid not to be able to use editted voice tags. I guess if I want to change a voice tag then I will have to delete the whole contact for that particular number and recreate it.

... oh well - its working now!

Cheers...Michelle.
