I wonder if there is any way to remove or put a blank operator logo on /// phones particularly the K700i? The animated wallpaper would be much nicer to look at if the operator logo was not there. On my previous nokia 7250, I was able to put in a blank logo. Anyone knows if this is possible with ///?
Day by day as I use my Sony Ericsson Phone, I find more and more reasons not to go back to Nokias.

Sorry Nokia fans but that's life . . .

There is a way to change it, ithink you can remove it completely. Have a look on Cellular Support but this way involves you having to mess with part of your phone's firmware.

Other people here have done it (mixin has) so they can tell you more info.

[EDIT]You will find all the information you need in the following thread:

Is the network logo changable on Sony Ericsson T610?

Thanks @Lynx69 but I don't think I'm that adventurous. There must be an easier way. Such a pity having a nice wallpaper only to be partially be blocked by "Globe Telecom - PH". What a bummer.

The only other way is to play about with the theme and wallpaper and try getting the colour of the operator logo of the theme to blend in with the background.

Like this one im using now....as you can see it is blended in....

Theme downloaded from Mob9 and is made by Beano (just to make sure you dont think i made it )

No, you can have different colours for operator name and date + time.

When you put in a colour for operator name, theme creator pro3g will make the date + time the same colour but then you can change it different, keeping the operator name the same colour.

[EDIT] @mobile-empire

That feature only works in most Nokias, it wont work in phones.
