Any one got the following T68 battery problem like mine?? If I turn off the phone while charging, the battery indicator will only charge to 9/10. If I leave the phone on while charging, it will charge to full 100%. Also, every time when I turn the phone off, then turn it back on, the battery indicator will reduce quite a lot, like it was 8/10 full when I turn it off, but the battery indicator will only show 5/10 after I turn it on..................Is this abnormal??? Anyone got this experience with the T68 battery?? Any solutions?? Since I have 2 T68 batteries and both have such problem, so I assume its not the battery problem, would this be the phone's energy problem?? Please help me !!! Thanks !!!!

Off late, even I have had the same problem. The battery charge decreases drastically if I turn the phone off and then back on again. Almost by half! If I do it two or three times - that is on&off - Im in the red zone of the battery.
This problem wasn't there before but has just begun to creep in. I hope someone has some solutions or probable cause of this. |

Well.. don't turn on and off your phones all the time!
That would be one easy way of solving the problem.
Of course you loose battery-time, the startups are battery-consuming.
Charge the battery correctly, otherwise it will gradually become worse.
Once in a while, let the phone turn off by itself, then charge while it's turned off... that'll be good. |

Battery's need to be broken in and need a lot of care, it's a bitch, all rechargable batteries are like that, keep on fully charging it, even when the screen goes blank, it should help I think. |

If u have an Ericsson nearby service point u can take ur phone to test te battery if it's faulty they'll replace it for u.
but explain ur problem clearly to them
good luck |

From what I've heard, the problem is common. I have the samme issue. And booting the phone should not take much battery at all, it's not doing that much, just browsing through the networks.
Have you tried to see how long it will last after having been booted? I think mine lasts just as long as ever, it just complains a lot. I'm not really sure though, I've got it attached to my MTS USB charge cable as long as I'm at work. |

I'm trying it a few times, and the battery indicator goes randomly at startup, sometimes lower, sometimes higher. So I think the indicator has a slow refresh, give it a little time to show an accurate reading, as it goes back to the indicated battery power level as it was before turning it off.
If this were not the case for you, I'd take it to a service point (maybe even get a new battery).

I have 2 T68 batteries and both have such problem so I don't think its the battery problem, even my old T28s has such problem where turn off and on would reduce battery quite a lot................did anyone got the problem fixed at service centre?? What did they fix??? |

@caff
oh it happened to me. a lot. my batt indicator showed yellow (which is about 1/3, then after a reboot it showed red, which means about to "low-batt."
but...big but. ....
after i have upgraded my t68m to the MMS software, the batt indicator is a LOT BETTER. even after how many restarts, the batt indicator always shows the same batt-life. |
