I'm just so happy, I'd thought I should share my happiness with you.
I know how sad this post is but I was the one who got left behind when all my friends got broadband and they nicknamed me dial-up boy. |

i got 512k i coundnt have 1MB beacuse they dont do it in my area (i live in a flat)

I've only got .5 mbit, I can get up to 8mbit but I don't think I need to spend money on that right now.

I have a 512kb broadband at home, but fot this weekend, ive got a nice slow near 10 kbps gprs connection!

playing games, downloading music, etc. etc.
its not really that noticeable of a diff, except when more than one comp is using the connection.

main difference between 512k and 1mb/s will be when donwloading large files, 512k will donwload at about 60kb/s whereas 1mb/s connection will have a top download speed of around 100kb/s, makes a huge difference on a 600mb file.

i have a cable internet connection, i download @
1 megabyte/sec on a good day, about 100 kilobytes/sec on a bad day.

i did go from 56k --> 512kbs --> 8Mbit and itīs great !! full movie in 15-20 minutes on a god day

I average at about 40-50kbps, but im at my nans this weekend, who doesnt have the internet so im on gprs!
