Little problem with a 3 phone |

This seemed like an appropriate forum to place this thread.
Hi,
I just got a new cell phone (3 model e616) but before it was handed to me there was an accident. The language was "accidently" changed to Chinese by my bro. I know how to change it back: hit menu, 8, 8, and then select English but if my phone is inactive for 20mins or so it changes back to Chinese, also, everytime i switch it off then back on it comes up in Chinese. It's really inconvinient having to keep changing it, I was wondering if anybody had any fixes for it (other than taking it to professionals) seeing as I got it 2nd hand and don't have a manual. Also, if anybody knows a good forum that deals with this sort of thing other than the official 3 forums and Esato they'd recommend, please don't hesitate to post, it's had to find active forums sometimes. I will be very grateful for any links given.

Hmmm i dont know if there are too many people with the e616 around here, try www.howardforums.com they cover a wide range of phones.

One could try performing a master reset, that might solve your problem. There is also a firmware update available for the NEC 616, it might be worth checking whether one already has this or not.
