Apparently you can upgrade to it using the Online Update Service. |

Hi andrew,
where did you get the upgrade? Ive been wondering why I couldn't set mp3s as ringtones. Do you or anybody else know if it would work on an Australian Vodafone K700i?
Cheers! |

The update, isn't on the online update. I've email vodafone, in the UK. To find out where I can get it updated, but that was last week. Still haven't hread back from them.
Vodafone sucks. As soon as my contract runs out I'm moving to a decent operator. |

Did you post your phone away to the Hays Technology center to get it upgraded ? |

@ sawyer, No haven't heard of the Hay's place till you posted about sending yours away the other day. If you get yours back in one working piece let me know and send me the contact details. Thanks. |

Reference Vodafone branded mobiles. I took mine to Hays Technology, nr Banbury. They tried to update the firmware with R2L but the phone would not allow this. They were able to update with R2V which I understand to be the Vodafone version of R2L but MP3 still limited in use - unable to use as ringtone.
