i would like to know the hw many bits per secon does se k700 play mp3

if its more that or equal to 128 ther is a gr8 collection on

it can definetely play 128 but i'm not sure about the hard limit...

I usually compress my mp3's to 192kbps and have used several on my k700 with no probs, think you will find the only restriction you will encounter with higher compressed MP3 is the amount of space they take up.

For the phones ringtones I am using 64kbps at the moment as with one speaker, some tunes don't seem to distort so much at the lower bit rate and size is around 1/3 of a 192kbps (give or take) so you can get plenty on there and still have plenty of room for games pics etc.

The qualities not bad to listen to either through the headphones or external speaker, like good radio reception at least.

Wouldn't dream of using 64kbps in my portable MP3 player tho, but taking into consideration the size of the phones memory (and I'm not complaining) it works for me
