Hi,

odd experience with my new T39m: I cannot get 14.4 kbps connections (only 9.6kbps) with it on the same provider that I get 14.4kbps with my P7389. I have tried several configuration scripts (including Ross Barkman's scripts and the ones that came on the CD-ROM), but to no avail.

So several possibilities:

1) the T39m is lying when it is reporting 9600 connects,
2) somehow the T39m refuses to accept that it can achieve 14.4 and only connects at 9.6, or
3) I have not configured the modem correctly to get 14.4 kbps

Any suggestions? Has anyone else experienced this?

Whenever I try a GSM 14.4k, a v.110 link, it returns "NO CARRIER".
