Nokia Headset and T68 |

Hi,
Did Nokia release its new bluetooth headset anywhere? I found from Expansys that they could deliver it in ten days. Did anyone manage to test it with T68? It looks much better than HBH-15. I think it might work with T68, as it is bluetooth 1.1 compliant.
I am feeling very self conscious to use my HBH-15 in public places. I don't want to go for HBH-20, as the wires defeat the very purpose of bluetooth. Cheers. |

Thanks for your reply Ejasim. Unfortunately, the Nokia headset does not seem to be available in mobile shops in the UK yet. Is it available in your country? |

I haven't seen any of the bluetooth accessories in the shops, but the vodafone shop told me that if you order it from them it gets delivered to your house in the UK. The nokia headset should work with the T68 and if you ring or email expansys they should confirm it. |

Thanks Chet. Did you get the price of the Nokia headset from the Vodafone shop? It seems to be fairly expensive at Expansys website. I got my HBH-15 for £100, when I bought it along with T68 at Carphone Warehouse. Cheers.

Good luck on expansys's estimate dates. I waited a month and a half to try and get an HBH-15 from them (it constantly said 7 days for the entire month and a half). I finally cancelled when mphone got them in stock and I ordered from them.

The Nokia bluetooth headset isnt out yet here in DK.
One thing you should know,..it is actually bigger than it looks on pictures.
A friend of mine from the danish Mobile-magazine was in Barcelona, when they released the 7650 and the other new phones.
The Nokia-people where using the headset down there, and he told me about it.

I think that T68 is Bluetooth 1.1 compliant.

I found a nice video of the Nokia Bluetooth headset HDW-1.

It definitely seems to be bigger than it looks in the pictures. Still, it seems to be more unobtrusive than HBH-15. What do you think?
Motorola's Bluetooth headset is probably the best looking of all. However, we may have to wait for a long time for it.
