My Z600 has been fine syncing with outlook for three months, yesterday it lost connection for an unknown reason and now it wants to run in slow sync mode. Trouble is after 5 minutes the phone switches off and on again requiring PIN entry. I had been using IR because I couldn't get sync to work through Bluetooth, but I've now messed around with the PC COMS ports following advice on this forum and am able to use Bluetooth - however it's still the same and the phone repeatedly reboots. This is not a unique Z600 problem, my T68 did this too, but then one day it would manage to complete the process and be OK for a few months. Any ideas?

Had a thought - why not switch off the PIN code so that it can reboot itself and just carry on with the process. But ... it doesn't. It brings up an error on the PC " cannot communicate, do I want to retry?" and goes round in circles ad infinitum. I've considederd wiping the phone memory and starting afresh, but if that fails I don't fancy having to enter 200 names and numbers plus all calendar details manually!

OK, in case anyone's interested ...... I took the plunge and deleted my phones' calendar, then initiated a sync on calender only. It went straight in. I did the same with my contacts, that worked too. I've made a couple of small adjustments to my Outlook details and done a calender and contacts sync to check and it's now fine. That's using Bluetooth with the phone elsewhere in the house so I'm now a happy SEM user again!
