If you compare WAP using the T100 or T68 over GSM, the former is much faster and content on screen looks way better than the T68! Thats where the T100's screen comes in to play. But no GPRS for T100, but that suits me fine cos i dont need it and just use my everyday 50 minutes for GSM WAP he he.
MMS will not take off in europe, neither will 3G/UMTS or GPRS! You cannot compare Japan to the UK and generalise their requirements and demand their for products and services.
Btw, i have both phones!

When was T100 released? It doesn't surprise me that the phone is superior than T68 in certain areas. Remember that T68 is a more-than-one-year-old phone

Are you trying to justify why you shelled out for the t100? The t100 has some serious problems and a lot of unhappy users. Go check out the prodigits message board. Btw I pay 10 bucks a month for gprs and 20megs of data transfer.

This forum doesn't suck, but its got a few users who don't have a clue.
Not a problem though, everyone needs a laugh now and then.
Question though, how is WAP faster on the T100 than the T68. I find WAP over GPRS heaps faster than by dial up. Just my experience, it may have to do with how the networks prioritise trafic...

allexdos, since you've been posting good things about tne T100, i decided to take a look yesterday.
a) it is wide and big (when opened)
b) the screen is nice but could be better
c) since it has no gprs, i tried csd and NO it is not faster than the T68 in that area
d) it is a simple, color phone, a good backup phone i should say
This is my opinion. |

hehe.. good one, Thief. Well, let us all stop bugging the only Samsung user in this forum Samsung may make good phones with nice features, but the battery time of Samsung phones really suck though.. (an objective opinion)

This guy is just really obsessed with the T100.
Maybe he’s a Samsung Employee?

Arnold has already answered my question, WAP on the T100 is slower than on the T68 (and by extension, slower than my T39).
The T100 has a nice colour screen, and it doesn't suffer from the speed issues of the se phones (T9 and menus... not WAP). That hardly makes the T68 a bad phone. Your logic (and your manners) are pretty poor Alexdos. |

Hi,
I visit many forums and in fact i was surprised to see that there were no flamming here at esato, because it happens in all forums. Well, it seems that we do have it now.
MMS has started up really nice, at least here in Portugal. More and more T68i are being sold just because of MMS. The policy of the operators here is great, free MMS for starting, and then they will charge 45cents.
Bye
