The SonyEriccson firmware update site for the K700i has been offline for too long now (is that what you call service). Is there anyone who has downloaded any new version on the firmware and is able to share this file with others looking for K700i updates? Lets help ourselfs if SonyEriccson canīt.
Have the cable, and the firmware updating software, but no firmware.... |

i don't think having the cable and the file but not the program (which is on the site which is down) will be sufficient to flash the phone.
Sounds like a trip to Belcompany to me!

@dutchcap - Are you talkin' 'bout the firmware upgrade here dude? Is that the R2L . . . version? If so, are they giving it just for FREE then thru their website? Many Thanks! |

and where is this site that they are giving it away FREE?
if you mean the online update site then Dutchcap already mentioned that and it has only ever worked for 4 days and has not worked for weeks and weeks now and no one knows when it will be available again

I assumed when he said cable he meant terminator dongle and by software he meant the DIV software, i.e. trying to do it the way it used to be done which of course won't work (yet)

ah ok
I thought because DIV clearly states it's not supporting the K700 at present it must've been something else

Ok. Need link for div software. Anything else apart from the terminator required? Will masseur give the thread for that? (He there is one) what does a dutch cap mean in english?
