I got my T68 free from T-Mobile on contract, its was obviously locked to there network. So i rang the operator up to get it unlocked (£35) so that i can get the benifits of my genie sim card (free wap and £30 worth of free texts a month). When i go get it upgraded will it still be unlocked to all networks?
Makes sense that it would be still unlocked. I don't think that the new software will cause the phone to relock itself to your old provider. But don't quote me on this because I have never had a locked phone. It just seems logical. Like for example if you use the master reset on a phone that has been unlocked it doesn't revert. So logic dictates that it shouldn't revert with an upgrade.
