I have a k700i, and was shocked when, I got bluejacked by a nokia 6600!

My BT was set to invisible ( i.e. they shouldnt have found me). And they could send me files and everything. It downloaded to my phone without asking me if i wanted to accept it!

How can i stop this. This is just wrong, its ok for SE to BlueJack nokia phones, but the otherway is just wrong!

Please help me sort this out.

As u all know, all big stories come with a conspiracy theory!I know,u say u just wanna point out,not to make anotha theory but..most of these talks mean hypotetic theories..which is just the same. The facts remain and history show us that most of the theories will crumble if media or the law will give em attention.

BT off is safe sex on cell phones, otherwise you can get bluejacked, hacked or infected.

BT was set to hide.

It is not a conspiracy.

What happened to the messages like, Do you want to recieve...? and what happened to pairing?

I was always asked with my T610

If you're so humiliated switch it off. Somebody used a bluejacking app on you.

Ive tested pretty much all the bluejacking apps there are, and none of them are capable of overiding the settings you have on your phone.

If someone is able to send things to your phone without you asking, you've either paired with their phone OR the files that got sent without permission were phonebook contacts that had attachments, such as images or sounds.

The only other explanation would be that the device that did bluejack you was a laptop pc, and you were bluesnarfed, not bluejacked. But then, thats not very likely to happen.

How do you know it was a Nokia 6600 ? the 6600 cannot bluesnarf..

yet.

Only because you found a 6600, it doesnt mean it was that phone.

It could have been any phone with its Bluetooth set to undiscoverable.
