hi i hv downloaded the sims and the sims hot date but i cant play the sims hot date becoz a mesages cums saying fatal error cant find sims data directory can sum1 help me pla i wnt do know wot do to i think i dont have the file wot ever tht is also the sims sound dont work can sum1 help me plz thankz |

try checking out the files to see if any taht are obvious are missing

you probably need a crack for the the game..... its like a couple of files that are missing. http://www.gameburnworld.com or search in google for "sims crack"

Actually for the addons to work, the first sims cd must not be a rip. It should be a cd image ( a single file with extension .iso or .bin or .img). If not the addons will simply not work . I know this from personal experience when i err 'bought' the game. ;-)
