I adapted a universal mount thatused a sucker to attach to my windscreen in my car. I took the mount off of the bendable arm and attached my holder to it instead. It works very well.
Nice Golf by the way.

I adapted a mount that attaches to the windscreen using a sucker and attached my HCH-32 (which has the same mount on the back as the HCH33) to it. I did this as I dont have much room on my dash and didnt want to make holes in my dash. I hope that helps.
I will try and take a picture for you, so you can see how it works.

I FORCEfully screwed the car holder into the dash. (since it was a hard type rubber)
A few small holes wont hurt it's sale value. (especially if I just sell it with the holder in lol)

I realise this thread is 'over', but by looking closly at the picture I can see that your car has holes from where a previous phone holder was mounted - just around the corner from your stereo.

So just incase someone stumbles accross this after doing a search as it seems that the first poster has probably fitted his holder by now.
If you want to mount in-car phone holders then you could try:

Ugh! Ugly as! One of my hand made custom brackets is much better.
I do like the antenna disguised as a tax disc holder... excellent for a car alarm with GPS function.
