GPRS connection thru PC on a LAN |

I am using my Nokia 6800 9with data cable) to connect my office PC to the Internet.
While I am connected to the Internet, my machine becomes inaccessible on the office LAN.
This wasn't the case in those ugly times of dial-up modems.
is there a workground using which I can connect to the Internet and be accessible on the LAN?
Pl. help.
