i just want to know some info on how long do you leave your battery charge for for example when its empty do you leave it charge all night thats 8-10 hours or do you charge it for the required 2 hours in which the battery shows to be fully charged??Does it affect the battery to charge it over time??? Thanks im just curious in what will give better and longer battery life

I must say I have noticed no difference-2 or 10 hours, same thing with Ericsson chargers.standby time is the same....Although i thought time of charging matters 2lets add some more"...

according to all the posts here the T68 does not have the Battery charging memory effect, that means u can charge it whenever u want (even if the battery is not depleted) but I still do it the old method fully deplete my battery and only charge it for a max of 3 hours, been serving me good till now

T39m uses Lithium Polymer battery. I think I've read somewhere that deeps discharging of Lithium Polymer batteries are not quite a good thing. Its good for Metal Hydride type of batts. Do a search over the Internet. Not sure if it applies to Ericsson batteries.

However, indeed one can recharge it anytime without first discharging.

Dont you just charge your battery until its finished charging? Surely it doesnt keep charging once its full. That just ends up damaging the battery.

what i´ve noticed after the upgrade is that when you receive the alarm of low battery, with t68m you could be up to 48 hours using the phone without a problem. Now with t68m(i) when you get the low battery alarm the phone goes off in about 4 hours!

John74>> You can charge however long and it won't have any effect on your battery. The batteries that we use do not have the 'memory' effect and as such it does not alter batteries functional properties. Also there is an automatic switchoff inside the phones, (and cam-corders, torches, digital cameras...) that get activated as soon as the battery gets fully charged.

There is another thread about 'batter care' by Orang3 in this forum. That gives you more details
