Of recent, i have been hearing this thing about the fact that its the quality of posts and not the post count that matters. So is there any way of rating the posts? Those who post crap could be given a D- while an A+ could be bestowed to a quality poster. The ratings could be showed alongside the post count. The mods could be the judges in this matter. Also this might remove the fascination of reaching more than 500 posts by hook or crook! Any takers? Is this possible?

nononononono!
even though the quality doesn't matter, a rating system is a bad idea.
What about people who will try to get d's and f's? (ie. me)
Creating a system where we compare users will do nothing towards the esato community. We all know that esato has a a few elitists that keep saying that esato is turning into trash--i think a grading system would only make that problem worse.

The mods can lock this anytime if they think this thread is repetitive. I had an idea which i thought could be shared with my fellow Esatonians! Thats it! ;-)
