Ok,
I have my DSS-25 now and have managed to get it to talk to my K700 but the speed as other people have mentioned on this site is not very good for USB. I have used the USB drivers from the P900 section http://www.sonyericsson.com/s[....]ps&lm=ps1_1&pid=10101&fid=6292
and set up COM4 enabled, but are they the right ones or are they are others I can use for faster access? Also which specific driver name have other people used (mine was SonyEriccsonDSS.inf)

I got mine from the same place as you. thats the only ones I could find anywhere on the support site
I'm sure there is not much we can do about the speed

I've switched to FMA (Float Mobile Agent) to transfer data such as games and vids, and for some reason it seems to work a lot faster than Sony's own software, especially transferring large files. Strange!

As far as I am aware the phones only work at serial (rs232) speed. The sync station is usb but it is converted to RS232 before it gets to the phone.
