Bluetooth, and you are highly unlikley to get a virus! If you turn your off when you out and about, you wont get bothered by it. Infrared is slow and you have to have a line of sight, and Cable is just mega slow!

bluetooth is better than IR due to speed and ease of use
bluetooth is better than cable because if u change ur phone u wont need to get another cable
Bluetooth wins!

Bluetooth is by far the best, Infrared if you already have it, but don't go out and buy it, and cable last, slow, ugly, and wired, which is definitely not good, go for bluetooth, but don't get the cheapest ones, as they can sometimes block internet connections, go for one around 20-30 pounds,
Charlie.

Bluetooth gets my vote. Bluetooth USB adapters are real cheap now too. I picked up a Belkin Bluetooth adapter from PC World for a very reasonable £20 and it supports most of the bluetooth features, which is nice.

Of all the devices being mentioned - I guess the best would just be the - Bluetooth ! Yup! There's a celfone virus going around for the past months I guess, that can esaily be acquired via Bluetooth . . . also, with that of IR/SMS/MMS etc. ! It is commonly called now the - Caribe virus ! |

The Caribe virus doesn't actually harm one's phone in any major way. In fact it was released in 'the wild' so demonstrate how vulnerable smartphones are to viruses, but I would not be concerned by this particular virus; it has very little, if any, effect and it is currently the only mobile phone virus.

@scotsboyuk - There are just reports here in Manila that the effect of the Caribe Virus can be a nuisance one to some being affected . . . Restarting of fone, Battery life dives so fast, Fone turning-off by itself. Maybe some software glitches, though I am not that sure if some have penetrated the hardware parts of such fone being infected by the virus! |

@masterp - Oh it's just fine mate . . . It's mainly because the Caribe virus has struck my place - Manila at present! So what if it was delivered/transported via parcel - UPS/DHL etc. to your place thru a disk, or just simply a foreign tourist here got it thru his tri-band fone and unfortunately lives near yours . . . it might just hit your fones without any warning dude. Just like that of the anthrax scare! |
