hello, I've been using my t610 for about a year now & everything was running smoothly until recently, i noticed that my phone's display is winking (forgive me but this the best i can describe it) everytime i play games or whenever a moving/animated picture is displayed. Now as of posting time, i noticed that it is taking so long to process certain tasks like saving a n sms via the sim card to my phone's built in memory. Also, somtimes it even hangs while doing other operations. Any help would suffice, is it safe or okay for me to have it serviced @ semicon (I'm from pampanga)?

how much free memory do you still have?

what firmware version do you have? (on your standby screen, do the following joystick actions: > * < < * < *. Where '<' and '>' are joystick direction movements and '*' = *.

actually i have already deleted most of my phone's contents (e.g. tones & pictures) but still no improvements. what i really want to be corrected is the display., it winks everytime a moving picture is viewed.

your firmware is a bit dated (the latest is R6C, i think)

you haven't posted your free memory yet, and that can affect your phone's performance substiantially.

PS
If you're gonna attempt a master reset, make sure to do a full backup first.

@GOwin

as for checking, phone memory is 843kb. it is really frustating to see the display blink whenever a pix moves. It's like a rhythmic backlight alert.

R4C.. So it's not even a year old. I had R1A on my old T610 and it may skip some frames when playing a demanding animation but it never blinks.
Take it to a service centre i don't think there's another "cure" for this.. except restarting the phone which i suppose was the first thing you did
