IRDA Modem Drivers for T630 in W2K |

I've searched, but apologies if I missed anything. I'm trying to install the correct modem drivers for my T630 in windows 2000. Currently, as expected, the driver is "Standard Modem over IR link." SE's instructions tell me to click on properties and tell it to install a new driver under "properties," but I have only three "tabs under properties--"general" "diagnostics" and "advanced." None of these has an option for changing the driver. Am I missing something?? Thanks in advance for any help!

another way of doing it... delete it from the device manager... download and unzip the drivers to a folder on your harddrive.... Use "Phone and Modem Options" from the Control Panel to add a new modem (under "Modem"), mark the box "Don't detect my modem" and under "Have Disk" point it to the folder where you have the modemdrivers.. |

Thanks! That worked, although W2K still installs the "standard IR modem" driver everytime my phone comes in range (if I delete it that is, which I've stopped doing now... :-/). |
