Hi guys,

I have had my T68 for about 5 months and have never been able to send pop3 emails. And even now i am using GPRS, still no luck. I am using the following GPRS details,

APN: mobile.02.co.uk
Userid: 02mobile
Password: password
I am using Blueyonder pop3 and smtp ports.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance
Mark

Check your SMTP settings once again - might been some small mistake there!
I had the same problems, could recieve but not send, it turned out that I´ve been writing in the wrong IP no

If you have upgraded to T68i then you have to use different pop3 and smtp setting than in comparison to your prior T68m

You can't use a SMTP server if your not 'dialing up' with the same providor, that's normally the case.
Otherwise, you could connect via GPRS and use BlueYonder's SMTP server all day to send millions of e-mails even if your not a customer of thiers.
However, checking e-mail (POP3) requires an account/userid/password and therefore that's why it works.

You need to locate a free SMTP (not many around) service, your GPRS service should offer one I would of thought.
