I see the finances of running/owning a Forum similar to that of a racehorse, it's got to at least break even as you are not going to pay the vet's bills for love. No win then corned beef tin here we come.

Actually the tinned beef bit is wrong, after many years you become too attched to the old nag and you remember the good times and owe it to them to see them through to their final day not matter what the cost...
