Wrong type of lock! Taken from my manual: ' The SIM card lock protects your subscription, but not your phone itself, from unauthorized use. (..snip..) If the SIM card lock is on, you have to enter a PIN every time you turn your phone on. What you are looking for is a PHONE LOCK, set to automatic so it will only ask for the code when a new SIM card has been inserted. You'd do best to set the phone lock on always though, so in case of theft nobody gets to abuse your contract ;-)
