How about this picture of what may be the iMac G5? A faithful reader sent in this pic with the story to gizmodo.that it was surreptitiously snapped in an elevator at Charles de Gualle. If I weren't feeling crappy, this would be the part where I make a joke about Apple and unsecured AirPorts.
Update:

| The saga continues:This pic of the new G5 iMac that were supposedly snapped in an elevator at Charles de Gaulle airport outside of Paris? That was a hoax. The guy behind the pics has admitted that it was just a 20-inch LaCie LCD stuffed into a PowerBook box. Nice try, though. |

Yeh thats true...Those pics of the new G5 iMac (main pic above)that were supposedly snapped in an elevator at Charles de Gaulle airport outside of Paris? That was a hoax. The guy behind the pics has admitted that it was just a 20-inch LaCie LCD stuffed into a PowerBook box. Nice try, though...We will know by this week and at the Apple convention what the real deal is!

What’s Apple hiding? >
No one knows for sure what Apple has up their sleeves for this weeks Apple Expo which opens in Paris next tomorrow. The only thing we do know for certain is that they’ve got something cooking and someone snapped this pic of huge promotional banner at Apple’s booth that is being draped in black fabric to help keep whatever they’re announcing a secret.
