The German company announced, the existence of one important bug in all the models of series 65 that are already circulating in the market in the entire the world, that is to say the models as: C65, CX65, M65, S65, SL65 as well as their special editions on other non European countries.

More concretely and according to the official statement of Siemens Mobile, the mobiles of this particular series with software of edition 11 or older (10, 9, 8 etc), can cause serious damage in the hearing of users, if it happens with a specific process in which is very usual on everyday routine. Siemens therefore warns that in the particular models and at the duration of a call, if the power level of the battery reaches the minimum and finally it lost all the energy and the appliance is turned off suddenly, the shutting down sound of its operation can be heard in excessively loud intensity, causing an important problem to the hearing of the user.

This is a very common thing to happen especially if you are talking on the phone. Siemens though claims that such thing it is impossible to happen, however it warns her users in order to avoid any serious hearing problems. Already Siemens has created a new upgrade of the software, but still waits an approval from the network providers. Until the new update is available the German company says that the best solution is to disable the particular sound from the menu: Settings-Melodies-More Melodies-Shutdown melody, Switch off option.

Another solution for those that do not want to disable the particular option, according to Siemens always, is to switch off their mobile as soon as the first warning sound is heard. In one minute three such sounds will be heard and afterwards the controversial shutdown sound will be heard that may cause a hearing problem.

Hm Se is an opposite example of damaging hearing. I can't hear it properly. Is this not a bug. I have my experiences only with T 68i and T 610. The same stupid silent sound. :-(

Dear oh dear.
The car in front is absolutely unique apart from the one behind it which is exactly the same. Murray Walker

simplest solution: dont buy siemens.
Who knows what other problems affecting health they may have, if they began selling the 65 range without knowing this?
