i have been told that i can use my phone as a modem! i use genie which has got free internet access on my phone, how do i set it up so i can access the internet fronm my pc??? i have typed in the 915000 number in my pc as the access number and when i try to connect to the internet from my pc the phone dials the number, but then nothing happens when i type in a internet address through the ppc. the phone stays connected but the pc says unable to find the requested site! can anyone help please

The 915000 number is used for WAP dialup, therefore your PC will not be able to use it.
To use your PC you will need to dial up using a standard PC ISP with an 0845 number with the phone configured as a modem.
This will come out of your free minutes and not your free internet quota.

ok so the 915000 cant be used to access the internet through a laptop for free but can it be used to access email from a laptop via BT?

I have my o2 email running fine through my t68i im wondering if i dial the wap 915000 from my laptop will i be able to open my emails in outlook on the laptop? could this possibly work?
