Can wi-fi damage CDs? |

I'm planning to leave my router next to my CD rack but I've heard that the EM waves emitted from the router can damage CDs as wifi uses frequencies that are the same or similar to those found in a microwave.
Is this true or I'm I just being paranoid and over cautious? |
