T68 & IPAQ 3850 |

Right, 2 questions if anyone can help me out:
1) I've got a Compaq IPAQ 3850 and can't seem to get it to talk properly with my T68. VIA IR it gets as far as "Establishing connection with T68" but that's it. Just sits there saying that.
2) The other problem Im having is that my T68 doesn't want to synchronise with my laptop. Connecting via IR it finds it but when I go to synch it fails to open a connection, although it did work the first time I tried. Very odd
Any ideas? |

My sync software worked between R520m and MS Outlook on PC, but when got the iPaq 3870 and installed the ActiveSync, phone sync with Outlook using XTNDConnect doesn't work anymore. Only time it works is when I boot the machine the phone waiting, IR on. Then the phone gets the IR port first and syncs, ActiveSync not working then....
Any solutions? |

Hi Guys,
Did any of you mark the check in your Phonebook and Calender in the T68i setting? Try to look at it in the Connect>Synchronization.
Select the Local sync for either using infrared or bluetooth. Next, Remote sync, check either Phonebook or/and Calender; and click start.
It should work. My Ipaq H3870 works fine with bluetooth and infrared. |

Hi,
I have the same set-up with a 3870 and t68i. I am having trouble synchronizing the calender. When I select local synchronization it just seems to drop out.
Do I need any specific software on my iPaq to make this work?
Also is there a way to automatically synchronize the calender between these 2 devices much like ActiveSync does between the iPaw and PC?
Thanks |

I have successfully managed to sync my t68i with my iPaq 3850.
Actually dont really matter which version of ipaq you have, I believe as long as you can install the following software called SIManager on your ipaq it should work fine.
http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=7496&associateid=9
I am using bluetooth to do the synchronisation but the software also supports other means eg IR
and also many-many other phones are supported too.
Best of all, it is FREEWARE
Have fun!
