Hi all!

Using a D-link DBT-120 BT adapter with my K700i to sync with Outlook 2003 and transfer files, which works fine.

BUT....the darn thing keeps reconnecting to the phone every 10 seconds when it's idle. (Mobile phone monitor is running and has a green checkmark)
If I close (deactivate) the COM-port that it's using in mobile phone monitor, it stops reconnecting.
But I dont want to open the MPM every time I sync just to open and close the com-port. Thats what I thought that the so called "Push-technology" was supposed to do.

I've tried to deactive BT on the phone, but It wont let me do that since "it's in use", except if I close the com-port.

It seems like there is something in my computer that does "a poll" every ten seconds to check if there's still a phone on ther other end.

I've reinstalled the system (win xp pro) twice, once with SP2 that has built-in BT support, but the problem is still there...*blink on...blink off...blink on*

Last nite I did a clean install of Win XP pro (SP1), installed the latest drivers from D-links homepage (ver. 1.4.2.10), and then the sync-station software from SE (ver.1.2.9.1b).
And as soon the Mobile phone monitor got running, it started to connect/disconnecting againg.

It drives me nuts (and drain the battery in no time)..

Anyone out there having similar problems or heard about it before?

Many thanks in advance..

Best regards
Pasco
