Im not sure if this is a known issue or a technical fault with my phone. Just a few days ago i noticed that the joystick didnt seem to be responding as well and sometimes it didnt respond at all! At first i thought the fone was just being slow to respond but it only seems to occur with the joystick and its also a problem during games? Should i take my phone back to the shop?

Of course you should, that's never right. They'll probably send it away though, not replace it.

Did you ever get you joystick working correcly [Red_Rach]?

Mines started to play up when I'm pressing down.

It's got to be gunk under the plate I suppose.

Anybody else had theirs fixed. If so how long does it take?

It has happened to all Sony Ericsson phones I've used (with a joystick) and the solution has always been to blow air straight into the joystick (without opening the housing) since most of the times it's just dust inside it. It's an easy fix...

Yes, my k7 is now 5 mth old and does collect lots of dust in the joystick. When u clean it out, things do improve. Just remember, most of dust is dead skin cells! Watch where you blow it.
