Guys whats the most user friendly and reliable software/bluetooth adapter to use with a PC running XP?

My XTND one is rubbish...fed up trying to reinstall software. I am concidering TDK's or Belkin...but whats the best for software as im not bothered what the adapter looks like!

Any thoughts?

They all use the same software.... except TDK, maybe. Belkin uses Widcomm like almost every other brand.

All the screenshots you need:

i use the Belkin BT Adaptor - and elected for the cheaper version to 10 Metre range - software loads easily on XP and Windows 2000 pro machines - and works really well.

I was using MSI software which is the same software as Widcomm, Belkin and TDK and it was really good. I have now updated my Windows XP to SP2 which has its own software built in and is really simple to use.

I'm using the Dynamode 100m BT adapter and it works a treat. Teh software is super simple to use and the adapter is pretty sweet. Most amazed at using the k700i as a remote control! Used to send files to my phone via a USB cable and it took literally 2.5hours for an MP3, not take about 4mins! Very Impressed with software and hardware!

Can anyone give me a link of where to download the bluetooth software from cause the one that i'm using that came with my bluetooth device isn't working at all.

this is the error msg that appears. I'm not sure of the brand of the bluetooth device though. I can't make a connection to the PC with my phone (Nokia 6820).

Your bluetooth software lisence does not include use with this Bluetooth device. [6]
and then it asks for the lisence.dat file which i have to browse to and select.

But i don't have a lisence .dat file.

anyone have software that i can try to install in the event it will hopefully work on my phone?
