hi. can anyone help me how to use sony ericsson K700i image editor with bluetooth? previously i was able to send pics from the image editor to my K700i via infrared but i can't seem to download images to the phone via bluetooth. my K700i's bluetooth is on but the download button on the image editor is greyed out which means no phone is detected by the image editor. thanks.

Hmmm...
1. Did you pair the devices? On your K700i menu go: Connectivity > Bluetooth > My devices > New Device
It will then start searching and it will find the pc. It will request a pass to type. Type 1234 or something easy to remember - anything. Then your pc will prompt you that another device is trying to pair to it and will request the pass. Type the same pass and the devices will pair.
2. Why send from the image editor? Save the image on desktop and then right click > send via bluetooth > K700i or whatever your phone is named.

Mods move this to Sony Ericsson > Software/General

the PC and the phone are already paired. i'm using the image editor to resize the pic to fit in the K700i screen. i tried saving the pic first so that i can just right-click the file then send via bluetooth but the image editor saves the image in bmp format. there's no option to save it in gif or jpeg format. images saved in gif or jpeg format has a smaller file size than bmp right?

.bmp is uncompressed image while all .jpeg .gif and .png are compressed. microsoft paint (yea the one in accessories) saves crap quality .jpeg but does good job on .png. After you save it go to paint and save as .png.
