Hi everyone. Well heres the story. I have a SE T226. I purchased a data cable for it(dcu-11). When I first plug it in to my computer, Windows sees it as USB-Serial Controller. Ok, so i pointed windows to the driver was given by the store. Windows rejects it. So I look all over the internet for drivers. I tried the one from the SE website, profilic(pl-2303), anything with usb to serial, but no luck. I contacted someone who had the exact same problem, same cable, same OS (windows xp pro). When he first plugged in the cable to his computer, Windows saw his cable as USB Device. Now that sounds like a walk in the park compared to USB-Serial Controller. The cable is not defective because if it was, windows would say,"Device connected could not be recognized,.....blah blah blah" Does anyone have any ideas or some miracle driver to fix this. I spent 3 days trying to get it working. Please!! Im begging now, lol Thanks in advance |
