This is one of my all time favourite movie gadgets!
In the 1986 movie Aliens™, Ripley and a team of Colonial Marines used the motion tracker to locate and track deadly aliens on their mission to save any remaining survivors of a human colony.
This motion tracker prop replica has a blinking display screen that simulates the radar effect seen on screen.
The sonar pulse sound and warning pings simulate the sound effects used in the movie when aliens were detected by the device.
The brownish green finish faithfully replicates the look of the movie prop.
The " TARGET="_blank">motion detector replica measures approximately 9” high x 7” wide x 11.5” deep.
The custom designed display case has a black base and acrylic dust cover and measures approximately 12” long x 12” wide x 13” high.
This official Aliens™ movie prop replica is licensed by Twentieth Century Fox and each comes with a numbered display plaque and certificate of authenticity.(Limited Edition: 2500)

The Alien movies are my favourite, especially this gadjet that was featured in the second movie was very impressive. The most amazing thing, like you said, was the pulse and motion sound. Tap... tap... tap...
PS: There are rumours for Alien 5...
