Hope this doesn't become another Nokia Bashing thread. Yes, nokia's are good but SE has something in it which makes them more desirable to me than Nokias.

Don't forget that it was Nokia that made the mobile phones for the great, and preferably young, masses. And Nokias market share, at least up till now, is really one of a kind. That deserves some respect!

But SE has always, at least so far, been in the mobile phone technology front line. Not to mention ///!

nokia phones are ok, but lack inovation, technology and good pricing.
there communicator line is the best what they got and should always be looked at, there other phones need to be left where they are, in the store with alot of dust on them.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

Sorry but i could never care for a phone who has it's biggest fanclub amongst 12year old girls (at least that is the case in Sweden)

Could never like those crappy xpress-on covers.

Could never learn to like the pale and and colourless menues of for ex. 6230.

But i like the 6600 for some reason if only it wasen't for that xpress-on thing!!

Nokia phones have their place in the world. They have a simple and intuitive UI which is valuable to many people.

Nokia used to be the trendsetter in terms of looks, and therefore was the automatic choice of the youth segment. Now that the other brands are catching up in the "fashion design" department, i find it ironic that Nokia, with its user-friendliness, is fast becoming identified with the elderly; while the more adventurous youngsters are wanting Samsungs and Sony Ericssons.

The exception at present would be the Nokia 7610. It still evokes primal feelings of desire amongst would-be buyers. Sadly, the only model capable of doing that after the 6600 and 6230....

Nokia is brand that must be respect, they have a great range of mobile phones and 33% of market share. They need better screen, smaller price and fabric excitment, and that SonyEricsson bring :-)

Agreed, Nokia is not a trend setter anymore, but there designs are soooo simple-but over used! I like nokia to the degree i chose one over k700-not on looks but on memory facility-just a shame Nokia produces so many versions of the same phone!

they arent even good versions of the same phone... the new ones like 3100 or whatever... just lacks basic features like IR, stupid descision to leave that out. there are so many similiar nokias its kinda hard ro determine whats what....(like ur walking down the street and u see sum1 on a nokia... you have to take a good look before u know what phone it is. lol, its just a little game i play..Nokia spotting )

anyway, nokia now lack individuality, and these xpress on things with stupid patterns is just a lame attampt to get that!

EDIT: i would like to add... there are some Nokias that i actually really like. such as 6600 and that new 6260 i think its called, the one that looks kinda like a K700...very quirky design

The only thing i respect at nokia is their marketing. There isnt a newspaper or any kind of leaflet where i wouldnt see a nokia advertisement.
