Guys I will get a new upgrade for my... playstation 2!
I will integrate the messiah chip it's a little expensive (90$) but it worst it's price: direct boot of all cdroms and dvds copies which worth 2$ for the cdrom and 6$ for the dvdrom,I will plenty of great games for a bread price

I take it that you know that will cancel out your warranty. If anything goes wrong you wont be able to take it back..

Well as much as I hate piracy, it is very much rampant in India. To be honest even I contribute to piracy by purchasing pirated cd's.
But it certainly doesn't make sense when s/w producers charge the same price which they charge in UK / USA. An average Indian earns about rupees 70 per day or £1. No way is he going to go buy an original s/w costing £30 or so and that too when it is just a pc or ps2 game. They should make less margins in countries where purchasing power is far less than some of the western countries.
Though I guess I can afford to buy an original product, it becomes too tempting to buy a pirated one - especially when I can get two CD's for £1 compared to one original at £30. |
