K700 firmware upgradeble with bluetooth? |

Hi!
I like to have the connection with a pc, but now I have to choose between a datacable, or a bluetooth dongle.
What I've heard was, that the firmware couldn't be upgraded with a bt connection. Is it true? Because I prefer bt more than a cable..

no, you can't use bluetooth. The online update, whenever it works again, is only available if you have a DSS-20 or DSS-25 sync station.
please take a read of the Online K700 Firmware update service available thread where this has been said many times

the firmware must be upgraded through cable since bluetooth is part of the firmware and can't be active during the upgrade process... |
