If you remember couple of weeks ago there was some news regarding a mobile phone constracted for the eldery people. Below is the news archive link from axxxr.

So in addition to this the network of Orange Switzerland has made available this small appliance, that with only three keys and without screen, it promises it unties the hands of persons of advanced age, who want to be in contact with their family. The Orange Mobi-Click is "equipped" with one red, a green and blue button, in each one of them numbers of telephones can be stored from the family environment, or from the person that has undertaken his care. The device is very easy to use for calling and answering as well as storing emergency mumbers.

The battery for stand-by time is 200 hours while talk time is 160 minutes.

The company that manufactures Mobi-Click (which celebrated her first birthday before 2 months) began as a family enterprise with hardly 5 members and based in Switzerland. Now, it has 30 employees and a annex in Hong-Kong, while it allocates a rich range of products that begins from mini-alarms with incorporated mobile telephone and reaches in specifically drawn appliances of mobile telephony for children and eldery people. The appliances are manufactured in Switzerland and until now the production shows that is increased progressively. The Mobi-Click aims in the markets central and Eastern Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Australia, while preparations are made for the spread to the opposite side of the Atlantic and particularly in USA.

Here is another photo of the device with a different design.

bit basic isn't it, even for an elderly person. Also how do you programme the numbers in, with no number keys and no screen to see what you are doing.
