With absolute success the network of Cosmote corresponded at the duration of the spectacular opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Athens 2004. As it is reported in the relative bulletin the telecommunications network of Cosmote demonstrated exceptional behavior fulfilling withsuccess 100% of movement that was presented at the duration of the ceremony in the Olympic Stage and the around regions, included the Basic Centre of Press and the International Radio-television Centre.
The biggest usage was just before the ceremony began and was on the higher movement when all countries entered the stadium as well as after the end of the ceremony.
The Directing Adviser of Cosmote, Mr Evangelos Martigopoylos declared relatively: "In this feast of ceremony that never met before of the beginning of the Olympic Games, Cosmote, with her systematic and exemplary preparation, ensured unhindered communication in thousands spectators, athletes and journalists from all the world and in all the Olympic Family.
