alam ko na marami na nakapost about sun gprs...pero here's my problem...naactivate ko na siya and all...pero hanggang LOADING lang ang lumalabas kaya d rin ako makapunta sa mga wapsites? help? |

@bouncy, try deleting the profiles and create a new one. I've just created a wap profile manually and got it to work the first time..by the way which phone are u using?

here's my settings:
data accounts (under connectivity menu, datacomm)
apn = wap
userid = blank
password = blank
passwor request = off
allow calls = automatic
ip address = blank
dns = blank
------------------
wap profiles (under connectivity, wap options)
ip address = 192.168.164.021
that's it.
also try using ota settings provided by SE website.

Bouncy, wer sent a msg that ur gprs is already activatd?try 2 restart d fone make sure u hb blue triangle visible. |

I c, try using another sim w activatd gprs (globe or smart) just to make sure fone is ok.ive had no problems w t610 en t630  |

globe works fine with my fone...anyway il bring it to a sun shop and let them do it there thanks  |

wrong move to bring your phone to sun shop to configure it. SUN CUSTOMER REPS dont know how to, they actually dont even know that their GPRS can be used for wap. i'll tell tou step by step on how to configure your phone for sun's wap/gprs if you want to. |

for others who want to know the configuration.. (SE phones only)
go to www.sonyericsson.com (go to support) look for WAP setup, then fill it up step by step, SE will send you SUN CELLULAR's OWN WAP SETTINGS (this one really works), this has "WAP" as APN and not minternet (used for internet web surfing, or as phone modem).
***IMPoRTANT***
input 202.138.128.28 in the DNS Address field in DATA COMM., leave everything else unchanged..
