I'm sorry if this has been posted. But I have done a search in the FAQ and using the search utility.
I've got my k700i mobile posted from malaysia. it has a R2A041 firmware. I got to know about all the new firmware releases and I would love to get one. However, I'm in australia at the moment. Can I get a firmware update in the local service centre in australia? I called up one and they were unsure. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Thank You

Hmm... I've been through that
I just wanted to know whether it's possible to do a firmware update in a different country than the one you bought the phone from. Someone asked the question in that post but no one answered.

You can upgrade the SW in your phone at any Service Point no matter wich country you are in.
There will be differences in language pacs but the English menues will allways be there and you might have to be prepared to pay for the upgred if it's done abroad.
