My friend has a samsung phone on t mobile and its telling him to enter a puk and we dont know what it is can anyone help

PUK or personal unblocking key is a code you receive with your sim card and is a security code. if you enter your pin code wrong 3 times, your sim will get blocked and to unblock it you'll require to enter your PUK. if you dont have it call your service provider (t-mobile) and ask them for it

When you call them all you will need to tell them to get the PUK is your phone number.
Just to make sure you know. If you enter the puk code wrong too many times then your sim card will be blocked for ever so dont try and guess it or something. I think it is something like 10 times, someone here should know or ask your service provider about it.

if you enter it wrong 8 times it will get blocked forever. (it might be different for different providers)
