i downloaded a lot of games for my k700 and when i put it in my phone, it saves it in the "other" folder in my file manager and doesnt recognize the files as games. Do any of you know how to convert a .zip file to a .jar file? thx.

Yes! really simple.
If you are using a pc:
Make sure you are able to change the file extension of any file. You do this by going on the menu bar to "Tools", "Folder Options", goto the "view" tab then uncheck the box that says "Hide extensions for known file types".
Click ok blah blah
NOW: rename the file that you say is a .zip to a .jar
hey presto you're dun! now when you transfer it should goto the games folder.
Hope that helps.

If you are using windows xp, here is what you should do. Go to folder options (tools - folder options/or control panel). Select the view tab and the untick 'Hide Extentions for know file types.' The game you downloaded would look like "game.zip". Remove the zip and rename it to .jar. It should look like this "game.jar"
