Well I guess not with that of the Nokia fone models mates I've had about 10 models to date, and the only thing that I made notice of is that the color fones consumes power a lot My Nokia 7650 lasts only 3 days, with average usage. I do still vividly recall that that my old Nokia 7110 and 6510 lasts more than a week (under normal/average usage) back then ! When I had my SE T68i back then I have to make a re-charge after every 3 days under normal use ! |

@Ayush: Not much use. GPRS 30 minutes, 2 to 5 3-minute calls, around 50 - 80 sms messages thats about it.
My previous Phone was a nokia 7250 and the battery lasted an average of 3 days and also with my phone before that also a nokia.
Its just that I've read from here that other T630 users average 2 to 3 days on their batteries while I always looking for the charger once I get home cause my phone will be low on charge. Anyone out there with the same problem? |

There must be something wrong with your phone. Take it to a SE Service Center to let them take a look at it.

@bico, I went to SE service center yesterday. They couldn't help and they didn't know what could be the problem. The FW is the latest and now I'm seriously doubting their competence in cellphones. They even suggested that I change my telecom service provider to Smart Telecom because that might help! |

How is the reception conditions, with your current service provider, in your surroundings? Maybe you suffer from bad reception conditions, draining your battery?

@Dinky around 50 - 80 sms messages is quite muche I think in one day.. It takes power from your battery!
Are you a rich man?

@dinky - Having tested 2 separate batteries is a good test already, I guess the fone has a problem If the fone is still covered by warranty have it replaced dude So you're from Manila as well Sevice/Network Provider has nothing to do 'much' with that of the fone's performance Though having considred your post back there, you sending 50-80 sms a day , my that might just consume the strength of the battery pal Try minimizing the fone's usage for a week and see if some + improvements occur
@emanuelj - Yup! SMS is cheap here in our place, only cost about US$ 2 cents/send Also, if you buy a 'Prepaid Cell Card' of say about US$ 5.75, it has a FREE 35 sms allocation, if used entirely you can send around 335 SMS or 60 MMS or 50 minutes of airtime call |

One day is extremely low performance. Do you have warranty?

@dinky, have the unit replaced and to the others never buy a spare battery for a new phone! (It doesnt make sense coz a new one SHOULD perform well )
forever Read the FAQ before u post a new topic.. 8810->6150->3310->t68i->t610->t630->k700i |

I had the same problem with my T637 until I realized just how much I was using wap and especially games... I can expect it to last days longer when I'm not playing games with so much sound and vibration... it really made a difference |

@bico, reception is not a problem where I live so I don't think that's draining my batteries.
@emanuelj, like JN said sms is rather cheap here in the Philippines.
@JN, nice to know your from the Manila also, well actually I'm from Quezon City. I didn't think that 50-80 sms a day was that much. When I had my Nokia 7250 I averaged 100 sms/day and I was using GPRS a lot but that phone never died on me prematurely. But I will try to "test" it this week by not using it very much.
@Afrodite, @kenski, having bought my phone from a shop which didn't have any warranty was probably a big mistake. I did save around two thousand pesos (US$37?) but now I'm stuck with a phone that dies after 12-15 hrs and can't get it replaced. |

I´ve an T630 with the original battery. using the mobile abou +/- 45 mins/day in conversation, +/- 15min/day with GPRS and sending +/- 15 sms/day, the battery lasts 2 days or 2 days and half....
