I believe there was some computer problems recently resulting in a lot of problems with peoples bills, cant u elaborate on what exactly theyve done to yours?

And if you sign up to a bolton like that then if u dont use more than 5mb then surely they cant charge you more? If they didnt tell you it was done by the page then id refuse to pay! I know in a lot of documentaion they estimate how much a wap page is and give you a rough idea of how many pages you will get with 5mb but they dont use that as theyre charging system. just keep an eye on your data counters!

I've had no problems with O2 so far - although it's a contract and not one of the online ones. One little thing I have noticed is that I've not been charged for any GPRS usage since they started charging again for some reason - I hope they don't hit me with the whole lot one month!!

@meths - I think the answer to your question is 'yes'.

It is counted by content, and the size of the MB does not change, so an Orange MB is NO bigger than a O2 MB.... for eg:

if you view 100 pages that are 10kb in size, you have used 1MB

but if you view 1000 pages at 1kb, then you still have used 1MB...

I dont know how big a page on pure wap esato is, but it will be bigger than on the mobile verstion of esato....

and some profiders (like vodafone) charge per 10kb. So if you view one page of 2kb and then stop with the GPRS session, you pay for 10kb. But if you view like 6 pages of 12kb in total, you pay 20kb. and so on.
Everything was ugly, but your beautiful face.
